The newly elected Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan has offered humanitarian assistance to the Indian state of Kerala that has been devastated by the flood.
The state of Kerala was hit by a flood when the monsoon season started in June. The deadly flood has since then claimed 400+ lives and displaced more than 14 lac people from their homes.
Seeing the devastation the flood has caused, Pakistan, India’s neighboring country has offered help. Prime Minister of Pakistan offered help through the following tweet
On behalf of the people of Pakistan, we send our prayers and best wishes to those who have been devastated by the floods in Kerala, India. We stand ready to provide any humanitarian assistance that may be needed.

With such warm gestures being offered by the newly elected Prime Minister of Pakistan, it looks like Pak India relations, after decades of intense rivalry, will finally be headed in the right direction.
