Uganda and Facebook Controversy:

Uganda has passed new laws for social media usage. “Citizens would have to pay 5 cents per day if they wish to use social media like Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat etc. But Facebook stepped in to save the day and showed its concern about its users. The social giant is ready to pay the imposed social media tax if that’s what it takes. Also, the citizens of Uganda consider this act as a scheme to turn Uganda into a stifle political dissent. They think their President Yoweri Museveni is behind this.
