US General Says that ISIS fighters captured are not any ‘honored guests’:
WASHINGTON — Just last week, many ISIS fighters had been captured in Afghanistan. More like, they surrendered themselves in front of the authorities in northern Afghanistan. The US general says that they are being treated like any other war prisoners and not like any honor guests.
“The government of Afghanistan has assured us that these ISIS-K fighters will be treated as war prisoners,” said the U.S. commanding general.
The ISIS-K fighters, belonging to ISIS-Khorasan wing of ISIS that operates in Afghanistan and Pakistan, had surrendered to the Afghan National Defense Security Forces.
